I'm starting to think that I'm not nearly as good of a packer as I once was..

Also I can't help but notice how spring-like all my clothes look.. I just checked the weather and of course it looks like I'll be seeing snow after all this winter. I just needed to leave Nashville to see it.

perhaps I will pack my fleece.

why hello pretty new shoes!! I'm slightly obsessed with you. :) 

cupcake.

Thomas and I had a slight craving for cupcakes.. however it became prevalent early on that neither of us understand portion control. well.. originally we were just going to bake up 6 and trash the batter (shame on me for being so wasteful!!). Fortunately Thomas had the common sense to bring up the idea of taking them to work, so some lucky co-workers benefited as well! And just like that we had 50 cupcakes to frost. ;)

Thomas went for the yellow cake and chocolate icing, I picked out funfetti--minus frosting, however I did have fun frosting them bright pick for my co-workers.

 Honestly I think the thing that took the most time was deciding on which of my cupcake liners to use! 

they didn't last long. 

brrr! and then it's 60 degrees.

I need to invest in a better ice scrapper, my plastic one isn't cutting it with these hard frosts..

Dad-- I hope you're having a fantastic birthday, filled with tv watching, iPad surfing, and a nice cold brewski!! Also, I know it's been twenty some days, but I made sure to play my turn on Scrabble so go ahead, scrabble away.. and yes, my letters do suck. ;)

Tuon, you now understand how the fishies in the fish tanks must feel. Poor puppy.. she loves her new valentine so much that she was willing to claw her way through the glass door to get it back.

rifle paper co. do you know how much I love you?! Now the post office? ...not so much. Thank you post lady for closing the door in my face and depriving me of my Valentine's Day stamps. Yes, you're right I can buy stamps at your convenient kiosk located outside, but not the pretty ones.

The rainy weather sucked and I almost got you in a car accident, although I'm blaming Opryland on that one.. BUT what a great way to start my weekend :) BBQ and a dueling piano bar-- fun!

Meghan, it was so great seeing you!! Even if you were only able to spare a few hours away from your conference, I'm happy we were able to meet up!

January, I'm happy you're gone. Your sad dark days were killing me!! Not only was that a problem but I've only seen a handful of snowflakes this year, and quite frankly I'd like it to be a bit colder. But thankfully those awful 4:30 sunsets are finally over for today there was still a sliver of light on the horizon at 5:30pm! Thank you 2012, I've gained an hour of light! Finally.

Happy Birthday Cullen!! Have I mentioned that you're my favorite sibling of all time?  Please come to Nashville so we can hang out, take pictures and just be down right awesome. I'll show you a good time over on honkey tonk row. It'd be fuuuun! Also bring your guitar-- that's a state requirement for when you cross the Tennessee line, you must have a guitar. Plus when you come, you can tell me about a bunch of new music that I should be listening too.. minus the country please-- (although I do (kinda) enjoy the Marietta Mud mix you made me).  But really I want more of this:

One more thing have I mentioned that it's insanely warm here? Seriously I'm upset about it.. I haven't seen an inch of snow this year--NOT AN INCH! Madness.
