Not only am I slightly in love with this picture, but also I love how great my camera takes pictures in low light. Seriously. It’s insane and pure bliss.

Ahh I now own a fancy camera and therefore get to take the coveted photo of myself in the mirror holding my new baby. I’ve been jealous of so many of these photos and when I took this, it was oddly unsatisfying. It looked just like everyone else’s. Nothing special or creative, but nonetheless, here it is.. my favorite one of the ten I took..

Well I did it. FInally. I turned this rather expensive gift card (woo Kroger fuel points!!)

into this bad boy..

Can you believe it? I cant. And to think that it only took a couple of weeks months of research, a few days of pre buyer remorse and constant glances to my bank account.

But it’s all mine!!

Now, here’s to figuring out how to use it..
